It's 2016, and I have not yet secured a position as Director of Diversity at a media or entertainment company. The path toward such a career seems less than fruitful at this point, the smallness and lack of growth akin to entering the estate planning field.
Therefore, I am changing course in my professional search and focusing on opportunities in the digital space, in both media and education, areas in which I have significant experience. Diversity & Inclusion will continue to infuse my work and passion, even though the phrase may not be in my title.
For Nerdy Girls and Talented Tuesdays will continue, as I enjoy creating these posts and I think it will lead to something. I'm not sure what yet, but celebrating other colorful women is an excellent idea.
